Work Commenced!

The time a man is employed

The time his abilities are deployed

Excited, confident and fresh to serve

His career graph takes a positive curve

'Responsibility' - a word has a new meaning

Backed with all the school and college training

Soon he got used to his work

He now carriers a pleasant yet a witty smirk

He came across something he has never thought

To detach work from life he literally forgot

Hours of time are now spent in office

Inadvertently sacrifices his life to service

The value of relation now he understands

What he believes 'he could', now thinks he should

Work is not the only thing that exists

It is the people that are close and job co-exists

Life has taken a complete U-turn

To spend and live of what he earned

Have Faith In Me!

I am not the one,who says a lot,
My mind is occupied by frivolous thoughts
What I feel for you,I cant express
I love you a lot,please don't be depressed

You give me yourself,you give me your time,
Feels like heaven,sheer sublime
Never be disheartened, if I don't return the same
It hurts me too and I am to blame

 Wish I could show in my heart what I feel,
The scars of doubt,I exhibit would heal
Have faith in me,there would be a time
Your world would be serene,impeccably divine

The Girl I Know!

A girl who keeps things to herself, 

Like an old book, pushed back on the shelf

Shy, quiet, decent and observant 

A little unsure, a little hesitant

She smiles, she laughs, she understands

Tears hidden behind her hair strands

Reasons she kept away from the world

But poured it out in a weak moment of sort

The whole world changed in front of her eyes

Soon she believed and started to realise

The world is not what she thought would be

She accepted the fact in others empathy

Now she knows what to do and what not

But in this journey she has become a ‘stone heart’

She knew she had to be little subtle and sweet

It’s the defense mechanism so that it won’t repeat

She is loved by the world she resides in

Reluctant to accept and is not so keen

She tried to break her ‘barrier of tryst with dubiety’

But she has travelled a long way and the road seems leading to infinity

But she is a fighter and her world is her family

Will go what it takes with goodness and humility

She knows what she can do to keep her faith

And believes she can triumph and it’s not too late

She carries a pure million dollar smile

Seems like nothing is abominable and futile 

Her priority in life is now what she craves for 

She know she’s not the one, whom she was before
